Who we are

Xalent builds custom automation software for businesses. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, reach us at privacy@xalent.ai.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and run the site. That includes:

• Information you give us. When you submit our contact or booking form, we collect your name, company, role, and the message you write. If you choose to include a phone number or email address, we collect those too.
• Booking details. If you schedule a call, our scheduling provider collects the details needed to book the time, such as your name, email, and selected slot.
• Basic usage data. We use privacy-friendly analytics that records aggregate page views and referrers. It does not use cookies or build a profile of you.

How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• Respond to your message and schedule or hold a call.
• Prepare for and follow up on a discovery call or audit.
• Send you messages you have asked for, including text messages if you provide a mobile number (see the next section).
• Keep the site working, secure, and improving over time.

We do not use your information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Text messages (SMS)

Consent. If you give us your mobile phone number on a form or during a call, you consent to receive text messages from Xalent related to your inquiry, such as scheduling, follow-ups, and replies to your questions. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your conversation with us.

Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opting out and help. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation and then stop texting you. For help, reply HELP or email us at privacy@xalent.ai.

We do not sell your opt-in. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only with the service providers that help us send the messages you asked for, and only so they can deliver those messages on our behalf.

Cookies and analytics

We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool (Plausible) to understand how people use the site in aggregate. It does not set cookies, does not track you across other sites, and does not collect personal information. Our scheduling and form providers may set cookies that are needed for their tools to function.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, such as our hosting, scheduling, email, and analytics providers, and only so they can perform those services for us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

Data retention

We keep the information you send us for as long as we need it to respond to you and to keep a record of our work together, and then for a reasonable period afterward to meet our legal and business needs. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove what identifies you.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to opt out of certain uses, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email us at privacy@xalent.ai and we will respond as the law requires. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If you have a security concern, please contact us at privacy@xalent.ai.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of the page. If the change is significant, we will make that clear.
